I was always intrigued by ships in a bottle. It is a cool topic to research.
Years ago I took on the challenge of putting a coin in a bottle.
This is a classic 6.5 oz coke bottle. I put a Kennedy half dollar coin in it.
It was not easy.

I took on the challenge of taking things out of the bottle.... Rum I believe, it wasn't easy either!

I've done that a few times myself. It gets easier with practice but one needs to practice with focus.:)

BTW This is not a trick bottle and it is a real coin. No magic here. No illusion going on.
I am a mechanic and made this happen with tools because I responded to a challenge from Scot Morris Of Omni Mag.
Saw this guy one night on Johnny Carson and he held up a larger clear coke bottle with a larger neck that had a quarter coin in it.
I was sitting at home with my/this -real coke bottle in hand when I saw this.
I always wondered how the other one was done?

The original challenge was to put a half dollar coin and or a golf ball in a coke bottle.
I broke a few bottles to make an illusion. One came out really nice with a golf ball.--I tossed it as a cheat that missed the real challenge.

Haven't yet seen a real golf ball in a real classic coke bottle.

If anyone figures out how to put time in a bottle let me know.

I did a golf ball in 1970. This is it. After breaking a half doz. bottles got an easy to glue break.
In this case, the challenge was breaking the bottle. At that point, anything can be put in it.
The real deal is getting things in through the bottle neck. I put the half dollar coin in through the neck.

Thinking about starting a thread in the Blue Room... just the opposite title though.

All of us came out of "the bottle". Most males (and others) spend their lives trying to get back in.
