CAN'T BELIEVE IT !!!!!!

Holy crap, too funny South Town, hate to say it with that one , you are of medicare age lol. Too funny

popslavaz did you buy supplemental insurance? Medicare doesn't pay everything. Believe 80% they pay and you can get suck paying up to a $1,000 if you go in hospital. If your discharged and go in your expenses start again. I did AAPR United Heath Care it's about $200 (I pay first $145 and nothing after that rest of year) a month plus $65 a month for drug coverage. If you don't buy drug coverage they penalize you 1% a MONTH when you do sign up. That 1% adds up!!
AARP doesn't always look out for seniors, Obama Care for one, it cut $50 billion a year out of Medicare and they supported it.
Cranky you sign up for Medicare when your 65 even in you aren't collecting SS.

There are a bunch of numbers about cuts. CBO in 2011 $506 billion over 10years or Heritage says $716 billion over 10 years. I do know I'm paying $750 a month for Part B+ D and supplemental insurance for my wife and me, not complaining . Company paid insurance for 10 months, I paid $1350 a month to my company for 2.5 months when I dislocated an ankle.

The tax cuts that are taking affect supposedly include cuts to Medicare,

That's what we would call FAKE NEWS!!!

Fran, i know i read cuts from 700 billion and down. As far as i know it did not happen. Lets hope there isn't any cuts to either SS or Medicare and i agree supplemental insurance is a good idea.

There is no entitlement reform in the tax bill at all. I only hope that Trump eventually gets around to entitlement reform. Like workfare instead of welfare. Drug testing for welfare and food stamp recipients. Weed out the lazy, disability frauds that can work and just don't want to. And so on, and so on.

Well we agree on disability frauds. What i was referring to was possible medicare and or SS cuts. The president did promise not to cut those benefits so i take him at his word. Fraud in SS is a personal thing for me that piss's me off to know end. The drug testing, i would like to see that in affect. To many people play the system and it costs us billions

I also take the SS Disability fraud personal. I have a low-life cousin who played the "bad back bullshit" all the way to permanent disability when there is nothing wrong with him except he's a lazy drunk.
Yet when my step-father (RIP) had terminal cancer the system fought him for over a year when he applied. He finally got approved for disability 3 months before he died.
FRIGGIN' PATHETIC!!!

What I "believe" in is my savings and investments. --For now, SS, Medicare, and my pension are what I am using to get along. However, they are all juicy targets that can be tapped to feed the hungry 50% that don't pay in for their future.

Ive told this story before and maybe you didn't see it. When my wife first became sick with a life threatening disease she was out of work on sick leave before she was paneled out of her job. She bought this disability policy through work which paid you a certain amount of money when your sick time was used up or you were retired due to a disability. It wasn't a lot of money but it helped. Eventually after a year or two the insurance company started to question her about Social Security Disability. They told her she had to apply or loose her benefit from them. They went on to tell her if SS denied her she would continue to get the benefit but she had to at least apply. The reason was SSDI would be a income and the way the policy was structured that was the less they had to pay
We consulted a attorney who told us to apply and if denied to then contact him. Due to her illness and the serious nature she was awarded SSDI.
She didn't want it. I could not get it through her head she had to take it. I told her what about the deadbeats who scam the system and here she was really ill. In her mind accepting SSDI now meant cancer had beat her, it won and she would never return to work. Finally someone interviewed and spoke to her and she begrudgingly accepted it
So as you can understand when i see how some bilk the system i dont like it. Thanks for reading this

We both agree and thats terrible. I cant explain how SSDI can approve one person like what you described and denied a guy who was truly sick like your stepdad. My wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer at age 58/59,i dont remember. She goes to Sloan Memorial, her oncologist does not fudge the facts on what she had, she just stated what was what and my wife was approved. My condolences on your loss. Cancer is something were well experienced in unfortunately

can u tell me wer saper was located,,,i have a cuda with its dealer sticker on it n I want 2 reproduce it,,i think its original color was chrome but looks blue

Saper Chrysler Plymouth was on the corner of Jefferson (RT52) & Hames in Joliet,IL. I think Saper might have had two p’s can’t remember. I guess if you have a sticker you know the spelling.

Saper (1P) was originally located on South Chicago street in Joliet right around McDononugh (sic), it was called Leonard Saper Chyrsler Plymouth Southtown motors. It moved from that location to 2100 blk of W Jefferson st in the late 60s. Their dealer decal had silver or white outline and lettering over a medium blue background.

I hyper1! If you get your Saper decal reproduced I would chip in for set up cost to get a couple also.

cant tell if its chrome or blue,,my friend owns a decal shop n has made 2,,,1 chrome n 1 blue,,i,ll see them Thursday
