My old boss owner of a machine shop (my 1st job) had an interesting way of delivering safety messages as a wet behind the ears kid learning my way around a shop. One day I was repairing an ancient machine when he kicked my foot "Hey get up from there...what's your mom's name and what's the best way to get in contact with her?" Dumbfounded I answered then of course had to ask why. "I want to be able to let her know after you kill yourself working on this machine."

My favorite. First time I saw that pic was in a mandatory forklift saftey course at work.

You guys are making me cringe! I've always been saftey conscious and when I would see someone doing something stupid, I was the first to bring it to their attention. "Think one or two steps ahead before you commit to your actions!"
