Question how many of your wifes girl friends etc back you in your project or does anybody even care

My wife of over 30 years has no issue with me messing with cars unless it gets out of hand (read: if she gets booted out of her garage spot - then she gets pissed). Having said that, she really has no interest in having her own muscle car/old car whatever. She wants new and comfortable for herself...

My wife is 100% cool with it but has no personal interest in the cars. We have things we enjoy together, things she does on her own or with her friends and I do the same. Works for us

Good stuff nice to have support from the better half

Wife is all for it and has her own car. Kids are right with us too! Family getaways involve cars...shows,races,etc...

This past summer we were at the races in Eddyville and my wife demanded a Mopar fix. She didnt want to go look at anything but Mopars and wanted to hit an all Mopar show before summer ended. I gladly hauled everyone to Mopars on the Mississippi!!

She supports everything I do , I think it keeps me from working on her ,,,
Joking really she's ok with it all even if I say I want or need that no matter the cost ..
I've been lucky - my friends say my dad paid her to stay with me .

First wife was cool with it while we were dating. After we were married it all changed.....Nuff said.
Second wife is great, we even got married at the drag strip. She liked the travel while we were still racing around the country. She is a volunteer for the MATS show in Vegas going on 16 years.Once in a while she will give me a little jab about having too many cars.I have to say she is right,it's time to down size.Best 20 years of my life. And still going......

Wife and kids are great. They all enjoy the car shows too. Wife will also watch the auctions on TV with me.

My Wife has no girlfriend.
As far as her being a soul sucking shrew hell bent on eliminating any and all fun a man can have, that is not the case with me. I am fortunate to have a great Wife. She has never complained. In fact, she has helped me pull engines, bleed brakes, install parts and such. GREAT lady.
The first wife though...
You love your car more than you love me...
Well, the car does what I want. It smells better. It has fewer emissions. It weighs less and does not complain if I drive another car.

My spouse found one of our three classic cars on Craig's list for me, so she supports my interest. However, while she complements the results of the restorations, she does not drive/ride in any of the vehicles. I guess as long as I don't complain about her casino gaming, she will "approve" of my automotive vices.

Mine supports me but I have no time I usually work 60hrs a week I've often thought of selling it to someone that has time to restore it.

My wife is great about the car. She’s happy I have a hobby. She doesn’t interfere nor interact with what I do. She’s a great woman and I’m lucky to have her.

Nobody ever laid in their deathbed and thought..."I wish that I would have worked MORE."
Ever think about scaling back on things? Simpler can be a whole lot better...

Well, now my car is getting a repaint because the wife says she’ll go to shows&stuff IF it looks good! She won’t even go around the block w/o a repaint(the car AND her). I tell her that grocery store, etc don’t care what she looks like, they’ll take your money. I think she likes me better out in the garage..

No wife, no kids, no problems...
No wife here either. My daughter wants my '62 when I'm dead, my son just looks at it and says wow!

My lady friend is a bit of a Motorhead, loves to go fast, likes it at the track, really likes riding on the Harley but says that my car is going to be the death of me? I'm not even going to try to figure that one out.

Some of us just like to work and be busy all the time. Not racing mad but steady busy making progress towards goals. Some aim higher than others...
