New tank time, couple of questions

Here are the j bolts and tank straps if you need reference for these.

Any chance you have an image of the inside of the trunk to show how the wiring was ran. I had a stud above the sender unit so I just earthed the spade on the sender to the stud under the floor. Tha headline was cut and faced rearward so had to look the line I ran back to the tank. The fuel line earth strap wouldn’t have worked for me given the distance

The sending unit wire comes off the rear tail light harness and goes over through a grommet down to the tank. Here are a couple of pictures from before my restoration show the wire, blue, coming off the harness and over to the hole in the trunk floor.

Thanks again. That’s the way I ran mine last night. But kept up up there the jack brackets are then brought is down. It was the only way I could see with that grommet being right over the sender.
I was wondering was there a neater route from the factory, but doesn’t appear so.

I agree its not the best way to have that wire run, but once you have a trunk liner or carpet installed its not visible.
