What a collection of '63's! Didn't know there were that many of us around. I go to a good number of shows and pert often I'm the only guy with a 63 in the bunch. I'll usually see more 64's and 65's. And over the years I've come to like the wagons more and more. Had a chance to snag a pretty solid one and passed it up. On the trim for the Fury model I heard that was done to make the car appear larger and guess it does as a few people say it's a big car which it's not. I read that Chrysler had did some fast downsizing in '62 as a competitive strategy against GM and Ford mid-size models that also made them an attraction for the drag circuit...ok...you can tell me I'm telling you what you already know. I think the dawn of the "muscle car era" began in 63 when mopar brought out the 426. Debatably the GTO usually gets most of the credit.

My 63 Savoy six stick, that I took my drivers test back in 69, have been riding around in it for 54 years now! My 383 4 speed Sport Fury convertible Iv owned for 17 years!

Love these cars. The 63 Plymouth is the one car I might trade my 65 bel for. I'm not sure I could pull the trigger but I do love the 63's.

I had a few 65's and a 63 Polara MW before I found my 63 that would stay with me till death.
My 1st car,a 65 green Belevedere I bought when I was in the 9th grade. I have no pictures of it that I can find,,,,yet!

383 850 carb 8k with 4.89's , an all metal car open headers slicks momo rims . we got from yother's stable as a roller . ran it as a 440 car , then maxwedged a it . ran it in street class . in street trim it ran a 11.78 with 4.56's at 6200 , oh ya we did a kevlar glass hood , muffers on street drag tires . next engine combo will be must more then before , ported chapman alum max wedge heads match ported maxwedge intake 470 b lower end . custom roller cam , twin 750cfm carbs . we still ran drums on all four corners . thats changing to disc setups all around now . i'll keep the vintage american magnesiums on all four corners , 4'' are just track shoes . the 8 3/4 will end up getting replaced with a dana 60 .

this car will be a 440 4 spd street car , thinking about setting a later b body k member in it to set the motor trans back and up a bit for a better launch . and swapping in a stock width dana 60 from a 68 b body , and disc fronts from a 68-71 b/e .
