For me, they are a never-ending source and reminder that we are genetically related to them and that evolution is still underway. Nature has a way of culling but it takes lots of time.

There are plants that are edible and delicious. There are other plants that are not as palatable but animals can turn them into delicious meat for us to eat.

We cannot produce enough non animal protein to feed the world. We need to produce meat to help supplement that need.

If all you want to eat is veggies, knock yourself out. I consider veggies to be a side dish and meat as the main course with a good dose of dairy products daily. Dont knock what i eat and i wont knock what you eat.
