Another idea

There should not have been any denting necessary.

There are factory flat spots for the brackets of both a buddy seat and a console stamped into the floor/hump.

OK, I guess if the factory brackets weren't used.
the factory console or the buddy seat---they both use the same flat spots? Any pics per chance?...............MO

That's what I thought too Dale, I expected to see brackets. I'm pretty sure Sport Satty had bucket seats , but maybe no buddy seat and someone added it . The b.s. was kinda floppy- maybe I should build some brackets. I have no idea what they look like.......MO
I have a set of brackets out of that Charger. I cut the tunnel section out that you can use as a guide. You can have them. I will throw them in your pile with the mirrors.

My 69 sport satellite has the buddy seat also (factory).

Thanks Dale, most appreciated. I doubt anyone will ever sit on the Buddy seat, but I would like it to be the way that it was intended.................MO

The arm rest functionality works great.

They do not use the same bracket mounting locations, but all of them are present on the floor stamping.

I probably shouldn't be letting another "secret" out of the bag....

I appreciate you posting this. I have been wondering what that assembly looks like.
My upholstery guy was in three salvage yards and couldn't find the 5th Ave power seat track. He got one from a little later model Dodge Diplomat and thinks he can make that work. Little problem is that the switches is located in the drivers door, and he is working on getting the wiring sorted out to move the switch..................MO
