To Flame or Not to Flame is the Question?

I think flames can look great on 30s-50s cars but just don't like them on muscle cars. One of the things that draws me to Mopars is some of the cool stripes and blackout options they offered like the rump stripe, blacked out hoods or the over the nose stripes as seen on the 2nd gen RR. I like playing into those themes myself.

Ok, that is quite cool. It looks very 3D- as if you could feel it on the contours of the body...
It was very detailed. The stars were embroidered and all of the stitching was where you would find it on a real flag. Clear coated and flat sanded then buffed.

Pete Santini & Mike Pickell...Masters of the painted flame lick.

Harlequin paint AS flames is pretty cool...
They change colors and "move" like real fire does...
