I would like to know what gears folks on here are running , I'm currently using a low ratio 4;30-1 gear is anyone lower I have a 5;13-1 ???

Depends on your driving. If a drag racing car with 31" or 32" a 5.13 might work well. But my experience is that the high rpm is really hard on parts. A 4.30 is pretty safe.

For street or strip? I used to run 5.33s for 1/8 mile racing. 3.23 for street car with 727 3 speed auto. My current project will have 3.73 with gear vendor overdrive.

the local track is 1/8 mile my other concerns are if I run a lower gear do I need to up the stall on my converter

More gear can lower the flash stall slightly. It also may induce tire spin. As long as the finish line RPM is in range once it's sorted out it will be quicker with more gear. However depending on the combo the pick up can be a little, or a lot. The more the torque, the lighter the car, the less the gain.

Went from a 3.54 to a 4.10 when I installed my Passon Performance 5 speed. I was worried about making it through the 1/4 mile in 4th. It makes it in the one full run I've done since I put in the 4.10. 17" wheels, appx tire diameter is 25.6"
