Has anyone purchased a new gas can lately?

Pricey but I am giving this one a whirl....

for some reason they also stopped making them wider at the bottom, which makes them prone to tipping over.

I buy old school gas cans at thrift stores for $1

Gas can with bottom spout connections just more likely to have a possible leak as it gets older. That's why all cans till this have spouts on top. I would not buy one. Find good old cans at yard sales.

We will see how long this one lasts...I have had replaced I don't know how many top dispenser nozzles through the years. It is my money and I am willing this give this one a try. If I waste it, oh well...I have wasted enough on the standard cans at the store you are referring to....

My other cans made it about a year before leaking...So in a year I will update....

Still looking for something that doesn't need to be picked up. The new cans empty way to slow and the shutoff to micky mouse.

looks like an easy dispense as long as the seals hold up. definite better than the safety moron proof one pint per minute can. $47 is steep, but if it holds up, wonder if they make diesel cans?

Aren't those steel cans more than $50?

Sure they make deisel cans, just rattle can them yellow.

Not sure what this has to do with a new gas can?
The dufus was to busy trying to open the fandangled new can and not realizing he left the car in gear. How can someone be so obtuse?

I use 5 gallon racing gas cans that i snag out of the trash at the racetrack, after the ricers get done pouring it into their hondas, thinking it will make them fast. A 99cent store funnel, filling my tank up when i get home from another state, total cost for equipment,$1.10 .
