Who Likes Aircraft ?

Never ceases to amaze me how the US comes out with an aircraft then next thing you know other countries have ones that look VERY similar. This one has C-130, C-141, and C-17 ALL OVER IT!
Still is a bad *** looking tactical delivery platform though.

Kelly had envisioned this as an advanced fighter/interceptor that would have served the country for decades.

I just finished reading his biography, really quite an amazing fellow.

Here is a link to a video a retired AF friend sent me. He was a SR/U2 maintainer.
The video is of Col. Frank Murray, an A-12 pilot.
My friend met the Col. a few times. Says he it a hoot!

The "Blues" have been coming too Seattle for many years for the Emerald Cup unlimited hydroplane races and they put on quite a show. Highly recommended.

The argument about who the best military pilots is Air Force or Navy? I say Navy, as it takes a lot of concrete to get an air force puke on the ground. Naval aviators land on a short pitching deck.
I wouldn't call AF pilots 'puke' but do concur about carrier pilots. The head of the 'cast iron 'balls' class. Also that they're subject to near 10 G's on take off, vision blacked out before they reach the end of the deck. Also 10 G's after they've 'hooked the cable' landing. Unbelievable stresses on pilots & airframes.
