I know the LS idea will really irk some people it is really difficult to argue with fully forged, cross-bolted bottom end.
As for the 3rd gen Hemi, I’d have to change out the rods and pistons to withstand the power, and that isn’t a cost-effective ootion.
As it stands it’ll be a healthy roller 440 with the Victor Max heads.

Got a call from the body shop asking me to stop by so we could discuss what areas of the car should be red and what areas should be black (chassis, inside fenders, etc.), and below is what I walked into:
The color is definitely not a factory red but it is exactly what I envisioned.

Thanks much, I’m glad you like it; your car was a big influence on the color choice.
Once the body work was done I realized the car could hold a darker color (as opposed to white) and I fell in love with the red, so Lancia Rossa Corsa it is!

Red, especially that one, always looks good. However on mine when I get back to work on it will either be the original color, ruby red poly, with firemist [heavier metallic particle than poly] or a modern variant. Some of the newer ones I like, say the ones on the Hellcats or trucks, look bitchin buuuutt are a 3 or more stage paint which is very pricey and easy to screw up if you don't have good gun control and don't get the base laid down right. Time will tell.

Getting ready to head out of town for a couple weeks but wanted to get started on the electrical before I leave and while the car is in the body shop so I began putting together my fuse/relay panel.
I picked up the American Autowire wiring harness a couple months ago knowing I wanted/needed to add 8-10 relays for various things like the electric fan, Accu-sump, power-seats (2), headlights (2), A/C (if I add it), etc., below is a picture showing the progress I made today; I'll finish it up tomorrow before I head out of town on Wednesday:
I'm picking up a couple of 10-Pole terminal blocks and I'll mount one where the blue tape/red line indicate, then run all the switch/component leads.
I ran the fuse block and relay setup close together so I could use common leads for both the hot (off the starter) and grounds (ground block is located above the relays and relay fuse block). I'll pick up some cross-overs to tie all the ground poles together and eliminate the cross-over wires I made. The wires will work just fine but they're a bit bulky.
Once the two blocks are mounted I'll cut down the height of the panel by 4" - 5" and go from there.
Oh yea, the wiring looks a bit hectic in this shot because the blue and white leads are just hanging around; once I get them mounted in place the whole thing should look much neater.

Things went to plan today and I got to spend a couple more hours at the shop so below are some pix of what's going on.
First are a couple more pix of the finished relay board.
This is the board now that I have the new terminal blocks in place with the trigger and component leads trimmed and run. I purchased higher amp/voltage rated terminal blocks for the trigger and component leads since I knew things like the fuel pump and fan would be drawing higher voltage/amps than I wanted to pass through a lower rated version.
I saw numerous videos online showing people making relay boards and virtually every one I saw the people making them were simply screwing the relays and blocks directly to the board, which doesn't make sense to me; what if you strip out the plastic (or whatever type of material you're using)? You then have to come up with some kind of work-around to get your component back on the board, so I used 1/4"-20, 10-24 and 8-32 Riv-Nuts throughout, making the board easy to work on.
When I get back I'll pick up some rubber isolator mounts for mounting the board to the firewall.
Regardless of how anxious I am I've been trying not to pester the body shop guys so they can get their work done, but today the shop owner came by and told me I really need to come over and see what he and his boys have been up to; he was SO proud! Here's what I walked into:
None of these pieces have been cut and buffed so they'll be even deeper and better looking when they're done.
One thing I didn't ask for was for the bumpers to be painted red; I wasn't looking to do a monochromatic look, but I'll put them on and see what I think and if I feel like the car needs the chrome I'll simply have them wrapped.

Bob! I've been away from your thread for some time and was elated to see the progress!! Way to go Bob! The colour is beautiful and everything looks perfect. So nice to see!!

Been gone for a couple weeks so really excited to hit the shop tomorrow and see where we’re at. ; It wasn’t part of the original deal but the body guys asked if they could begin hanging the doors and fenders while I was gone so hopefully it will actually look like a car. Even if they didn’t hang any pieces it’s exciting to know I can begin hanging suspension real soon and get the car off the rotisserie; makes it all seem more real.

WooooHoooo, the re-assembly has begun!
Got the doors and fenders hung today so I’ll follow those up with the trunk, rad support, valance, and hood. I’m going to hold off on the door latches until the fenders and hood are lined up just to make access easier, but those will be done soon enough.
Here are some shots but I forgot to get a pic with the fenders hung but I’ll get one shortly.

Only had a very short amount of time at the shop yesterday but got a bit of work done, did a bit of damage, and took a picture of the car with fenders. Sadly, when I opened the passenger door and sat on the sill the rotisserie slipped, the car rotated, and the trailing corner of the door crashed into the ground, bunging up the corner of the door as well as the new paint 
. Luckily the damage is actually very minor and Manio (the painter) was there and said it's no problem, we can fix it in no time, but I still feel like crap. I guess that's one of those mistakes you only make once because I can't imagine I'll ever allow myself to do that again.
Next up will be the trunk lid, radiator support install (after a couple pieces are painted), and the hood. Once those pieces are in I'll move the car back to my shop where it will go on the 2-post lift and I'll hang the suspension! After that I'll put the car on dollies and keep moving forward.
Here's a shot of the car, fenders hung and looking like a real vehicle

Arrrrgh . . . That's not the way it was supposed to work out, so sorry for your "first ding" on the car ( at least YOU did it yourself . . . ) and I hope that Mario can make good on it so you'll never know it happened . . . Hey Larry, hope you're having a great weekend and getting some time to work on the Belve!
Yeah, not the best beginning but if I'm going to mess something up now is the time as opposed to later. Hoping to get a bit of time in the shop today and get some more bits and pieces together for mounting on the body.
