I know cruise control didn't come on 4-speed cars from the factory. It didn't come on 440 six pack motors either, but this isn't stopping me. I've got the whole setup (for an automatic) 75% installed....but I realize that I need to have a "clutch pedal/cruise disengage switch" in addition to the "brake pedal/cruise disengage switch"....duh.
So, I'm sure I can fabricate some small bracket to mount a switch on the clutch pedal lever, but what switch should I use??? Now, the brake switch disengages the cruise once pressed, until you re-set the cruise on the turn signal switch. I'm thinking the clutch pedal switch would need to be basically the opposite of the brake switch....once released the switch disengages the cruise until you re-set it.
Any suggestions or ideas? Suggested switches from a junkyard ("brand X") or local parts store? THANKS FOR ALL YOUR IDEAS & SUGGESTIONS!
