Were there standard and optional tires for a12 cars? I know most seem to have redlines, were they standard? I know they are g70x15. What brands were used? Since all were lynch road assembly, maybe only one brand?

We’re they 15” or 14” - my recollection was most of the b bodies back then came with 14” redlines. Don’t know why an a12 would be different

Guarantee they were. Hemis too. Mine has an assembly note written in black paint brush on the inside of the trunk lid. I'd post a pic ,but i'm away from the car at the moment.

No need to post pics - I believe you. A12s were special cars so why not have a different tire.

Getx'd we're good, i didn't mean to get on my high horse, sorry.
I'm just curious, was anything other than a redline available. White letter? Blackwall?

A12s came with 15x6 h code steel rims
And red line tires
The original rims are worth a fortune

What's a fortune?

it all depends on the date codes
2500 and up for a set with desirable date codes (1st quarter of 69)
they are worth a lot less for other dates/years

I'm not sure of the exact brand Tire from the factory
that question might be best asked at this forum

I do know they only came with redlines
and there is only one repo tire available on the market

The A12 Package called for Goodyear G70-15s red lines. The Hemis used the F70-15s for the 69 model year which could be either a red or white line. That is just one of the reasons that the A12s have some unique oddities not found on the other 69 model year B-Bodies.

Someone posted a picture of a virgin wheel and tire from an a12 on a12mopar.com that showed a goodyear. I find it strange that the only redline repops are firestone, was hoping stones were offered too originally.

I've got one single H wheel i'll have to see what the date code is on it

Go to the lift-off hood forum(also known as a12mopar.com) ,go to "the things we know" thread, look for "how to identify a correct H wheel". It will tell you if you have a a12 wheel , and also how to read the codes.

All of the more popular Goodyear redlines are reproduced including the G70-15 Polyglass for the A12s. Expect to pay around $365 per tire. So if your looking to place the correct tire and wheel with the correct lug nuts onto your A12, you can easily sink over $4300 into this purchase.

I have the original spare from my trunk and it was a red line Good Year if that means anything.

Here is an original pair of Good year 15 inch redline A-12 tires I had. I sold them to Frank Badalson at Carlisle back in 2017 for $750pr. They were going on a high dollar restoration for a museum car..
