383 with ac would that be a single groove or 2 groove pulley? We keep getting sent single groove pulleys and we read in part books that its a 2 groove. Any help is appreciated.

What year? My dads 70’ Challenger RT is a small single pulley with ac.

I believe all the water pump
Pulleys were single groove. The air-conditioning belt went around the air conditioning pump to the alternator and down to the crank. The power steering belt was around the steering pump and the crank and the water pump belt went around the alternator water pump pulley and crank. I’m about 99% sure on that.

91 r/t You are 2/3rds correct. The water pump belt goes around the crank, WP, and an idler pulley on A/C cars. The crank pulley is 4 groove.

You have the A/C and PS belts correct.

This is the WP belt set up.

Small block and big block are different. You are mixing them up.

BB cars use an idler pulley for the WP belt from 1962 thru early 70’s that I’m familiar with, and doesn’t matter the steering system. I Can’t speak for newer than that.

OH The fun of air conditioning.
