This is the power steering joint half that is on the steering box side of the steering coupler. 73 Charger. On mine the splines are striped out and it has a hole drilled thru it with a bolt & nut in it. I need to replace the steering box but need a new coupler half first.

Mancini has this style but I dont see the stock style coupling.

IIRC that's a one year only part.

I think you're looking for the steering column shaft with coupling. 3748383 is pn
#62 in pic? If not what #?

I have one of those columns....I can check it..lmk

It's one year only for 73 but it was used on other models so it shouldn't be too hard to find or too expensive when you do. The rag joint itself is another story. (He's looking for the yoke that attaches to the box shaft instead of the pot coupler in 73.)

Apologies, looking at he wrong side. 3575756 is # for manual steering, 3575755 for power. No idea why it would be different.
If you don't find one, try Silkies. No website, you'll have to call with the pn.

Firm Feel found this one in their pile of used stuff. It might be the one. I have to take a better look at mine and make sure. The drawing above shows a pin driven through to hold the coupler on the steering box shaft. Have to make sure mine is that way, and the one from FF is that way.

The problem with the flaming river joint is that you eliminate the movement built into the plunge coupler. That puts a lot of stress on the column bearings, I imagine to an even greater degree in an ISO-K car. I wouldn't mind seeing something to eliminate the rag joint that uses a factory coupler body on the other end.

The part I need is the splined coupler that is pinned on the steering box input shaft. I dont see it on the end of the column. Thanks though. If you have the steering box that column came off of the part I need may be with the box.

He needs the yoke from the steering box. I'm guessing most people pull the columns and leave the yoke.

I found one for sale for the OP, sending PM.

Email sent to them. Thank you very much.
