Ok, WWII Akron. Just finished the book.

2 more of carrier landings in WWII & relative size of blimps in the war. My dad spent his early years in Fla. with these in ‘44-45. One great story was pulling guard duty inside gondola at night, one guy broke his leg sliding down when wind whipped up & blimp went “tail up”.
