A87 vs V21 code

im looking over my 71 roadrunner broadcast sheet and have a questions about it. What’s the difference between A87 decor package hood scoop sport stripes and the option v21 hood performance paint stripes? I have both . My car has all its original decals. Is v21 the stripes on the hood in front on 383 call out?

Not really. I want to know does the code v21 part for the decor package? Not finding any info on it being its own option on the roadrunner. Its not an air grabber hood either. Im trying to make a reproduction window sticker. I want to make sure I have every extra charge option on there.

As I understand it, the V21 is separate. They are the striping decal in the hood cove next to the engine size call out.

The A87 decor package contained several options including but not limited to the V21 hood treatment. Both codes should show on the broadcast sheet. On a standard hood road runner (two indents with engine callouts), V21 was the pinstripes in the hood depressions next to the engine call outs.

So v21 shouldnt on the window sticker if I have that A87 decor package on the vehicle correct? V21 was there just for the people at the plant so they know it needs to be added to the vehicle?

Correct. The window sticker will list the A87 package and indicate what is included in it but V21 is not listed.
