So I have a 73 charger that I have had for about 7-8 years. I hate seeing it just sit in the shop, taking up space, and never being touched. While I have a very limited budget, both money and time wise, I would love to see it going. My wife on the other hand, would rather me sell it. She is fine either way, she’s just worried it will consume more of my non-existent free time. While I would like to see it going, I don’t have the means to properly restore it. This is my hang up, since it’s a highly optioned car. The nascar theme would be fixing some exterior rust, if I can find patch panels, and a simple single stage paint. The rust in the trunk would be taken care of by installing a fuel cell and flat steel/ aluminum. Probably the same for the rear floor pans. I have a 440 and transmission in a truck that can be swapped in. Steel wheels and lowered some. The car didn’t come with a title, and I have never applied for a lost title. I figured a bill of sale would hurt me attempting to sell it, but doesn’t matter much for me keeping/ parting it out.
I wanted to tap the minds of FBBO and see what direction it should go in. If I were to sell it, I’d probably try to find a wagon to put my 440 in.
So should I nascar it? Sell it to someone who wants it? Or part it out and possibly help several people?
I’ll post up several pictures and more are easily accessible.
Thanks in advance.
