Looking for a little guidance, I'm looking at a 69 coronet that has the standard instrument cluster. How big of a job is to change that to a rally dash? Thanks

The rally dash and non rally dash frames are different and have to be swapped.

Remove windshield, remove metal dash frame. Install metal rally dash frame and assorted pieces, install windshield.

I looked into it and decided to restore my non rally dash. It's what the car was born with anyways.

Wire harness is also different between the 2.

It is not unusual here in the forum to see members selling both complete, dash parts and frame, usually to restore, be patient and wait, the rally dash really worth it.

Nice restore on that dash.

Now please remove the big stupid tachometer. lol
I know, right? It is very handy to know what the RPMs are but that thing looks tacky. I may buy a small one and place it under the dash somewhere.

Looks nice, but, $275 for the tach and remove the switch panel (which will ruin my dash pad) to install it. I don't think so.

You can install one of those tachs without removing the switch panel. Take out the radio and it is a piece of cake.

Taking out the radio is no small feat with aftermarket A/C and gauges under dash.

I'll stick with the big ugly tach for now. Maybe downsize later.
