Mike thanks for the shout out, much appreciated....you know me and you know who/what I am about....I really enjoy your build thread and what you offer to the forum....

Back at you Justin; I have nothing realy to offer here except an opinion and a little bit of experience. Both can be corrupt or flawed at times!!! Lol!
My car is a heap, its flawed due to the lack of experience I have in paint & body... but with all its flaws I still enjoy it ( like everyone else views theirs).
Hopefully the comment was tongue and cheek and the poster does not really think that.
The attention to detail and no compromise standard of your dads car is unsurpassed. I had no idea that a build of that level could be done.
Thanks for the education!
Back on topic hopefully CI will correct the OPs dilemma!!!

I have an OEM car and I have a modified(engine) car. I appreciate craftsmanship, detail and time invested in a car. I feel it is presumptuous to think my skills are better than the 1969 Chrysler engineers that designed my cars. Otherwise I wouldn't have them. If I have a good steak, then I don't need Steak Sauce. I may just be a minority.
I, on the other hand, feel the factory engineers simply turned out a starting point. I can think of only a handful of cars that I would consider "well done" or basically perfect right out of the factory. There's always SOMETHING that they compromised on. Something that they could of, and really should of, changed that completely changes the cars character.
If you purport to have a strictly this, or that, car and don't ever post a picture of it then I agree with Justin. Without pictures ...you either have NO CAR or the one you do have is not as you have built it up to be. Otherwise, in this age of cellphone camera ubiquity you would have posted them up. Full stop.

Wes Eisenschenk's Book page 54 top photo. OEM Car
https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/jis-pace-car-build.148821/ Mostly finished Modified car

Sometimes you just have to look. So just maybe I can have an opinion now, with your permission of course.

No idea who Justin is.

Nice restoration but nowhere even close to a true OE car...light years apart.....

that would be an over restored second day car to be correct...but very nice!

Now to a book? Post flipping pics of what you claim...who has the book, lol...and this is where people want it be one thing but it simply is not Even close to a true OE car....so one simply can’t say to be truthful in this situation “I have an OE car” it’s not...

that is why one can’t find it...

No where on the forum have you posted a picture of this OEM car? Let’s see that OEM car via pics of the engine bay, underside, etc. you know the type of pics where you can see the details...We all enjoy eye candy!

everyone else does btw.....
It's in pieces. Has been for the last 20 years. I thought you were following my thread?
The only detailed pics I have of it are prints that I took during disassembly. If you are that bent on seeing them I can start scanning.

Runner that post was NOT about you.....bro you have to read and see where it was placed.....

Ed thanks for the compliments....
this is also to give you an idea that I am no different than anyone else here whom work on their rides......
Oh, but you ARE different than most of us, sir :)
You've been there, done that whereas most of us haven't - or would even know how to, much less have
the patience, desire and/or wherewithal.
Then, to top it all off, you take the great pains and time to present it for the world to see, step by step,
right here on these hallowed pages free of charge!
Top off that biscuit by hanging around and helping folks on a regular basis like you do....

Yeah, you're different all right. In a good way.

Man I haven't seen a thread hi-jacking, gone off the rails, into the gutter, jumped the curb into a creek, triple rollover like this in a while.
Sorry for my contribution to the train wreck B569.
How is the resolution going with Classic?

I was thinking that I was on Moparts, but then if that's the case the thread would have been locked as soon as Kern Dog posted the picture of the apple.

That is because the Moderators on that bullshit site have less humor than the Amish, less tolerance than the Gestapo and seem to be bent on driving anyone away that has an opinion outside of the norm.
THat site is shrinking, THIS one is growing.
Ever wonder why ?
It reminds me of the HIGH tax states that chase away the productive citizens with their oppressive laws, excessive regulation and high tax burden. Do these ******** think that the people will just continue to take it in the *** ?

Now you done went and did it!!!! In 5.....4...3...2... well maybe not...

Mike thanks for the shout out, much appreciated....you know me and you know who/what I am about....I really enjoy your build thread and what you offer to the forum....

On this forum their is a CLEAR distinct hatred among a few members towards OE guys.....the same ones that cry a river and compare their stuff for a feel good moment dogging another’s car.....They never post pictures of their work or their cars but they are the resident authority on everything....

What I have done in my build thread has never been done. Trust me the OE crowd is PISSED with me for sharing all those details.....I had to scrounge, research and document as many details through the years as I could....My purpose for that thread was to provide that once “secret” information for all to enjoy, incorporate into their builds and when I leave that never leaves.....

it is sad just how quick the “haters” chime in on this....If it is something they won’t use nor do...that’s ok but don’t tear it down....

All I initially referred was people who claim to have true OE cars but have a ton of reproduction parts is nasty...It is a lie and the public whom is dumbed down believes that false information....Then wallah here come the haters and NONE of them have nor care about an OE car...WTH?

I am dang glad my t shirts have grease stains...plus I dont own a watch...there are things I never had to measure...people that make comments as such are the ones whom are jealous, are not man enough to say it to the persons face and they themselves provide zero to the forum.....how is that for a :poke:
Justin- I've followed your amazing build thread and you deserve mega kudos for taking the time to share it with us and the rest of the Mopar world. Something you wrote in the post above,
'...My purpose for that thread was to provide that once “secret” information for all to enjoy, incorporate into their builds and when I leave that never leaves...", made me wonder if you have your build thread backed up on some other media besides it just being on the forum's server. It would be a shame if all your effort and the knowledge you shared was lost to a technical screw up of the server and backup Joey has, if any. That goes not just for you but also for any other members that have put in the effort to make a build thread. BACK UP your work onto your own media, please.

Excellent point indeed.
Although folks might assume that at least the photos are saved first to ones' own computer before being posted,
computers fail, hard disks fry and yes - websites shut down sometimes.
