There are a lot of different genres under the name Gospel Music. Just watch a GMA Awards Special and see. Rock, Country, Blue Grass, Metal and so on.

So, I thought it would be nice to have a place for us to share some well known and some not so well known groups.

I'll start off with this one by The Church Sisters. We sang this song acapela as we stodd around Uncle Bill's grave last March; it was one of his favorites. It may bring back some memories for you as it did for me.

I have a radio station on pandora that is is quartet gospel music. It’s all I listen to. It’s got old Gaither stuff, the Goodmans, cathedrals, greater vision, and a whole lot more. For more contemporary stuff check out the Collingsworth Family. Saw them in person recently, and it was awesome.

I have not heard of that one. How about Bloodgood, Saint, Whitecross and others?

I found Theocracy about 4 years ago looking for Christian Progressive Metal on the net. Been a fan ever since. I have a compilation CD that I bought back in the day that has Bloodgood, but I'm not familiar with the rest.
