Like to know what everyone is doing about their stereo sound system.
I would like it to appear stock as much as possible. I will be using sound deadening throughout the car as I reassemble it any recommendations for that as well would be nice. 69 B body Plymouth application.

There are people out there that can modify your old radio with modern stuff. Blue tooth, usb etc etc. I installed a retrosound stereo in the roadrunner. It has the thumb wheels and doesn't look bad at all. You can find it HERE at crutchfield

they didnt use a one radio fits all approach.

I have a Retrosound also, and that was the part I did not like. Took a little time and patience to get it aligned, and the difference in the faceplate vs stock is too noticeable for me. I spoke to the nice folks from Florida at Carlisle about the one above. They also convert stock units, and said that is the way to go for the most original appearance.

I had the original radio upgraded to the aurora system. Ralph the Radio Guy in Bartlett, Illinois did it. Very nice and has all the bells and whistles, even call call for a pizza on the way home. I’m planning on a post about my dash upgrades. I have extra a/m radios.
