I drink a gallon of distilled water daily. I usually buy it from my local kroger grocery. The last week or so they've been out, or very low on supply. Today, they. Were out. While there i noticed signs saying, limit of 3 for water, and 2 for eggs & milk. I drove to the next closest kroger- zero water. I drove to walmart. They had shelves full of every type of water. No signs posted. I grabbed 6 gallons. When i approached the front of the store, the cashier said, a limit of one per customer. I said ok, i'll be back in 5 more times. She said, they wouldn't sell to me on my return trips. I tried a dollar store on my way home, no luck there either. I know we aren't supposed to hoard ( though this would only be a 6 day supply for me). And i know we are supposed to avoid going in public as much as possible. Though it seems to me, the limits of 1, 2, and 3 , promote frequent public exposure. Especially for larger families.
