My quest for water

You can't get all the water you want and complain about it. If that isn't a rag, I don't know what is. Your being greedy in hard times, Stop It!
Improvise, Adapt, Overcome!

I am so sorry. I didn't realise you were the one in authority over thread content. I hope you enjoyed the informative video. Or was that not allowed by you either ? Are your rules posted somewhere for members to read, and abide by, buddy ?

I drink a gallon of distilled water daily.

At some point, you do reach over capacity.

Why is everyone making a run on water? There’s no virus in it, right? We have power and there’s nothing that will put the water supply at risk. Do that many people live on bottled water? My area has good city water and even those around have ground water with filtering. I can see if your power is out or floods that may compromise ground water.

Just can’t figure that one out.

At our house we have a 500 gallon per day R/O system. Works great never any issues and great water. Installed a 50 gallon per day unit under the sink in our condo for drinking water and ice. Also works great.
I'd like to see a picture of your water plant! 500 gallons/day of R/O ?

  • Eliminate up to 99% of dissolved solids, chlorine, fluoride, microorganisms and heavy metals such as barium, cadmium, chromium, lead and mercury from your water. Use RO purified water for drinking, cooking & ice for improved flavor and increased health benefits.
you may want to look at what the newest systems can do.

Remember, somewhere there's someone more thirsty than you, and not caring about their quality of water!!! We're all in this together!!!!!
Please!!!!!

I will say this, not wanting to drink fluoride is ok. I believe our reccomendeded levels are safe. Saying that, the fluoride is for healthy teeth. I grew up insmall towns and on the farm and have a mouthfull of fillings. But, since I moved to town (40 years ago) I have had few cavities. My mother has also lived on the farm for years (and in small towns back in the 60's when there was no flouride) and she had bad teeth and dentures since she was in her 40's. My wife was born and raised on the farm and she had fluoride treatments from the start and she has exellent teeth. Just an observation.

Everyone should care about the quality of the water they drink. Its a strong measure in maintaining their health. Which is especially important at a time such as this. Not caring is fuel for the fire. My personal consumption rate is not gluttonous. It is what's recommended by leading experts, ie, the article link i posted to rc earlier. Maintaining ones health, along with social distancing are the best things we can do for one another, at this time. Imo.

I think the fluoride addition is for cavity prevention, and chlorine injection is to combat nasties like Giardia in the water supply.

We have Greenies over here protesting the addition of fluoride tio town water supplies...they are all ugly people who smoke dope and have bad teeth...enough said.

Yep that's what I meant. I had it right in my last sentence. :BangHead:

I drink a lot of water. I buy my water in cans or bottles, there is no limit to how much I can buy, it also contains hops and barley!!!

I drank about a gallon of purified sparkling water a day until this thing hit. I’ve cut my consumption down so as not to buy so much that others will be deprived. I think I’m okay with 2 liters.
