Afriend of mine is working on the interior of this car. Saw it this morning for first time. Solid straight 318, push button, floorpan needs replaced on drivers side. Shop is too small to get good pix. Going red ext. white int., black top. You get the idea. Paid $9600.00 at an auction inMissouri this past fall. Just putting out there what stuff is bringing.

Awesome! Someday I'd love to have a 64 Fury convertible to park next to the wagon in the garage.

Picked this one up 13-14 years ago. Paid $200 to the original owner. It was rusty in back, but $10k and lots of elbow grease and bartering and now it's one of the most-fun cars to drive! 440/4 speed 3.91 gears. No top and still has the original interior. Spent next to nothing on the body, but everything replaced was blasted and painted and new bushings and.....

Hi Frustration,
I see you have some big meats stuffed up under the back on several different wheels... What size tires you getting up under there ?? Are those wheels 8" or 10" ?? Thanks
Earl

Hi Earl. The black steelies and the Cragar SS wheels are 15 x 8" with 4.5" back spacing. The Americans are 15 x 7" with Radir Pie Crust Slicks. The wider tires will rub a bit, but my car sits really low in back. I have 3400 lb Super Stock Springs on it.

Thanks for the reply !! I've seen a couple with 275 60 15's on 15 x 8's...I'm not quite sure i'm going that Big...I'm thinking 255-60-15;s rear and 215 -70-15 front on 15x8 rear and 15 x 7 front....on a White convertible with Torq Thrust D;s

I recently bought a 64 SF with a 318 and I too have rusted floor pans. From the fuel pump to the carb, the previous owner just ran a neoprene hose and they did not even install a filter. With A/C brackets, it is a tight fit and I see why they went with the hose.

Could you possibly publish some pictures of the fuel line at the carb to where it rises from the pump? Is it a 2-piece line with an "S" piece by the carb?

I would really like to get this fuel line, but the Classic catalog does not list this combination.
Thanks.

I made my lines from 3/8 aluminum. I double flared them, but I actually connected them with a hose and clamp. The flare helps to keep it from coming apart. That aluminum fuel line is bendable by hand, but for 90 degree turns or even 45's, I use a bender to keep them clean and not kinked. I don't have a photo of that line, and I'm at work. Let me know if you still need it and I'll try to get it to you later today or tomorrow.
