Well I'm going to finally start my build thread on here! My grandpa owned this car for about 47 years. He bought it from a guy in 71 or 72 that he still plays snooker with to this day three times a week.
The car was taken really good care of for asking time and spent about 15 years tucked away before my uncle getting divorced and the car being kicked out of the house to make room for a suite. The car then sat outside for its next 17 years or so.
Basically everything is original but has been weathered well!

I have the car entirely stripped now ready for media blasting which should happen in the next few weeks.

I will begin posting more photos shortly and bringing things up to date.

Originally white vinyl top and white/blue interior.
Going to keep the solid top as is and change white interior parts to black but keep the blue interior parts (carpets, console, dash, headliner, seat belts, etc...). Seats, door panels and visor will be changed from white to black.
I've done everything myself so far but will be farming out the sheet metal work. I've done some but not enough to be comfortable. Need new trunk pan, floor pans, quarters. Otherwise agreed pretty darn solid. Rusted from the inside out due to seal failures
