Hi. Working on 70 satellite. I was getting the driver window rolling up and down with lubricant because the car sat for 35 years outside. Got it working but now it rolls down by itself and I do not have power windows. Any ideas ? Thanks

little known automatic window option

I have a weak spring in the rear door on my 84 W350 crew cab and it will slowly wind down over time.

I believe they are on the back side of the window mechanism itself, not sure if you can just buy the spring. I know that there are new reproduction piece available.

I have an old regulator around here somewhere with one I would be glad to send it your way

if beekeeper doesn't have what you need, i have a couple of springs only.
Hi. Ok. Let me ask. What is easier replacing the regulator or putting the spring on the regulator installed in the car. Thanks

Since the spring is on the back side and has to be would tight and slipped into a groove I'd think it would be easier to install the spring with the regulator on the bench. But if you are removing the old one then might be easier to just toss in a new unit.

Ok Thank you.

I’ve looked this place over for that regulator and I can’t find it luckily rbk has what you need.
