ok..... now i think I've seen it all

yesterday the wind was howling 30-50 mph all day......so I'm drinking my coffee, hanging with Rebel; and he alerts me to a truck stopped out front. Guy gets out as neighbor across the stret is getting his mail; and they are pointing in the direction of my gate. So I pop outside and they're like "hey, your wood pile is on fire!".......... Holy ****! this thing was cooking! like big time! could have been my house, could have been at night. WTF

Glad your neighbor, the guy in the truck & Rebel were all paying attention.... Looks like the tree took out a power line? Hope you didn't grab a hose....

tree was rubbing the power line and a piece blew into my wood pile.......... the tree up top was smouldering all day till the electric guy showed up...... the fire laughed at the garden hose, so I wet the perimeter to stop the spread. The wind was howling, it was like a forge.... fire dept was there in less than 10 minutes
