Dealer Demonstrator GTX at Clark Motor Company, State College, PA, with every factory option available on an A/C car except vinyl top and rear window defogger. Dealer installed items included trailer towing package, 1966 Imperial hood ornament, steering wheel clock, and barometer. I test drove it when I was 16 and haven't been the same since.

those hemi's were pushing those car's around the track with the aerodynamics of a cardboard box faster then their running today

These came out well for scan's, from '83-'84
My late uncles '70 Hemi challenger and my '69 RR with a real A12 hood and very stout! 383

75-80 Dragway Mopar Day, spring 1990. Seeing the track as it was then compared to how it looks now when you see it on Motorweek saddens me.

:( I live close to 75&80. Never got to race there. My dad used to race mopars there in the '70s and early 80's. Maybe I can get permission to make a pass when the pro street E body is done?

i am generally over in the ‘73 forum but thought I would share a couple of pics with y’all folks here in the ‘70 forum. A while back a coworker of mine told me about a hot MOPAR he once had back in the day. He dropped by yesterday with some old photos of the car. I asked...I know those aren’t show trophies on the hood?? He smiled real wide and said...Won them drag racing! Too cool not to share.

I know it’s a long shot but if anyone knows where this car might be today, he would love to be reunited with it. Car was sold new in Alabama.
