So I have 10 minutes to eat my dinner by myself and saw GY Cars on and thought I can take a few minutes of Worman. Well I get my meal all ready and sit down and this cartoon of Worman starts up about nothing .... literally it was a bad spoof of all these nonsensical characters including Worman about who tried to kill him? WTF as if Worman himself is bad enough an alter ego cartoon with a bigger ego is better? Nothing to do with cars or the work they do in the shop. What a complete waste of time. I could have watched mold grow instead. What is up with Motortrend? Don’t they know their customer base? Its all about content moving forward and there is such a lack of quality content.

I feel better now.......

That dude is such POS!!! This subject comes up once in a while and there is always someone says that it isn't that bad or its changing for the better, etc but it is still the same old crap. "F" that guy and show!

It really is good to get stuff like that off your chest as soon as possible.
May I suggest getting rid of your television?

One thing I notice about the show is they always show a car's engine/front suspension assembly and rear suspension install on the Bendpack. Zipping things together with their electric ratchets. It's the same thing all the time with no change. They just show 'em doing that dozens of times a season, with no details mentioned, tips, task order or any explanations of any kind.

I use my phone the tv is very dusty lol

I stopped watching a couple years ago, it wasn't even worth the storage space on my DVR to record it. what I really liked about the show was the body and paint, but there wasn't enough of it to really learn anything.

I haven't watched him in a few years. You guys are much more entertaining and answer questions too.
:popcorn2::luvplace:

The only thing about that show that made it into Icing at first was it was a show about old Mopars and a guy we all thought we could love that was saving them but I liked his quirkiness at first but it got old fast and I didn't watch many episodes of the show it just turned out not to be what I originally thought it was but I sure envied being an owner of one of those great Mopars and I'm sure glad I am now

I think all in, I watched perhaps 2 or maybe 2.5 episodes since the beginning, I just cannot take his idiocy and especially in the beginning his ignorance. The few times I did watch any of it, it was only moments before he was spewing some absolute BS; somehow he thinks that the memorization of a few numbers makes him an expert on all things. To that point I don't think he even memorized crap, rather he looked it up before being filmed and regurgitated it for the camera. Perhaps the worst criticism I could offer is that GYC makes Orange County Choppers look awesome...

Watched the new show tonight. About 10 worthwhile minutes of a 60 minute show. Daughter and Cousin Dougie seem to be good folks, but Mark Worman is a complete dud. A second, old GYC followed, where he rants about not being allowed to "express himself" (fornicating a bale of hay or grabbing his crotch). I was reading the paper, and it was background noise, but my wife got up, mid-show and said that the Mopar knowledge is good, but that guy is a completely worthless idiot. AMEN.
Too bad that such a good concept, with such good possibilities can be sidetracked by one jerk....

I have noticed that the guys that complain about Mark are often the types of people that I don't like.
Not always but enough to notice.
I joke, play pranks, act obnoxious and try to have a good time as often as possible. To me, being quiet and polite is a slow and very boring existence.

Big difference in having fun and being obnoxious. Mark crosses the line too many times. He has a lot of knowledge, and when he is serious, even when he is joking around, he is entertaining. But watching him hump a bale of hay is not my idea of fun.
Your idea of fun may differ.....

I used to really enjoy the show.
I've still managed to excise some info from it.
The cars are magnificent.
I've had a dozen of the shows on my DVR and I used to look forward to watching.
They've been on the DVR for months, waiting for nothing better to do days...

I think it’s great we have an hour long show in multiple seasons now devoted to Mopars. Personally I would much rather have the show than not. If you got to the animated part last night, you made it to the end. I don’t remember seeing an animation until the last 15 minutes of the show.

So what you want is a "This Old House" about Mopars !! Its kinda funny that all the home shows manage to survive without much drama but the automotive related shows need to play it up.

I've posted that analogy on FxBO for years.

TOH has been going since the 1980's, and has at least one spin-off, so they're doing something right.

There are a few other shows that get it right or at least close to right for the serious or more serious than not car aficionado.

Full Custom Garage and Wheeler Dealers come to mind at the top of that list.
