I'm looking for the plastic panel that the rear seat rides up against on the lower left (driver's) side, sometimes referred to as the lower inner quarter panel. Mine is pretty trashed from sun and abrasion damage so I would like to find one that has most of it's surface unblemished. The interior color of the car is dark green but I can paint any other color to match.

Thank you.

I have this one if it works for you

Yes, that's the one I need. Is it in pretty good shape? It doesn't need to be perfect - just have a surface that's intact and good enough for paint to adhere to (no deep scratches or much sun de-lamination). How much would you want for it? Feel free to pm me and we can work out the details. Thanks.

71-3 are the same and 74 is a 2 piece set-up... What year do you need?

Technically 71-2 are the same with the separate padded arm rest. 73 has the arm rest molded in the panel and 74 has the cutout and cover for the retractable seat belts.

BINGO!!!! We have a winner.

Are you sure about that? The car I'm working on is a '73 and it has a cut-out like the one pictured above which I presume is what you mean by the cut-out for retractable seatbelts, right? Also, Classic Industries lists the '73 and '74 panels as the same part number(s).

Yes the one pictured from reply #2 is from a 1973.

1974 B Body is a 2 piece panel. Classic Industries is clueless in this category. I attached a pic (not the best BTW) of a pair of 1974 Charger rear lower door panels. The red & yellow arrows are pointing to the 2 separate pieces that make up the whole panel.

Chrysler was so silly about stuff like this, making such ridiculously small changes that took them having to re-tool parts. I suppose it kept their engineers and tool and die makers busy, but it's terribly annoying dealing with these issues constantly when trying to restore old Mopars. Another example of this is how they kept changing subframes and K-members over the years on B-bodies: on the Satellite (the Charger was probably the same) they completely redesigned the undercarriage of the car between '72 and '73 even thought the bodies were basically the same with only a few minor changes. Someone here will probably chime in and explain why they did this, but to me it never made any sense.

It looks like I need to correct my title to just a 1973 trim panel needed then.

They (Chrysler) were aiming for a personal luxury car. So in 1973 the B Bodies received an isolated suspension to make for a smoother ride. Thus adding a different K member with rubber isolators and the torsion bar cross member being an independent set-up. Rear axle received rubber blocks between the leaf springs and shock mount brackets.

Chrysler had a history of being on a split 4 year design cycle.

for example- 65/66 and 67/68 Fury.
LOTS of similarities but also lost of differences.

66/67 and 68-70 B was supposed to be this way as well, but the platform was extended to 70 IIRC because the 71 design was not ready for prime time in 1970 as planned.

... and I'm sure the rear panels with separate arm rests were more expensive to produce than the integrated ones.

The seat belt retractors for 74 caused the 73 panels to be one year only, after the fact.

...but I agree there are some silly things you think could have been done more effeicently.

My favorite example is 66 Coronet tail light lenses. You can't see with the naked eye, but they are curved differently top and bottom and not interchangeable L to R. they could have easily made them the same curve and only produced one part.
