If you had a zillion dollars where would you choose to live?

I have my place in SC now for the winters. Now a camp on a lake in northern Maine for the summers will be perfect.

I would stay here in iowa,
Set the kids and grandkids up then help others that need it.

I wouldn't necessarily choose it, but a pine box! If I came into that kind of money I would probably keel over dead from shock. Other than that anywhere but NJ! :D

Here, I would use the drag strip, road course and the oval.

Good questions that are not easy to answer at least for me. I am very fortunate in that I have traveled much of the world and have been on almost every continent. I've always said that there is no place like the US and certainly no where else I would rather life due mostly to the freedoms and rights we have under the constitution and bill of rights, but the events of late now has me rethinking this. The problem is that there is no where else in the world that I could have the type and quality of life I have now (2 40x60 shops, lots of firearms, 100m range on site, etc.) so this would mean a very drastic change which I am not sure I could deal with very well for very long.

I've been all over the US and have to say that geographically I really like western WA but the politics here are getting crappy. I lived in Monterey CA for a year, beautiful place but again, the politics SUCK. Spent a lot of time in NC but I have no desire to live there again.

As for the world, I have seen a lot of cool places, Israel was nice, Norway was beautiful but again there isn't anywhere outside the US where I could really thrive I don't think. That said, much of my adult life was spent in Asia so that is where I would probably head, specifically the Philippines since I speak the language, my wife is from there and I have spent a lot of time there.

South Dakota or Wyoming.

Alaska in the summer, Idaho/Montana in the fall (hunting season), Utah/Arizona in the spring.

On 1000 acres in the Ozarks with a large 50 acre private lake tall trees and clean water.

With that kind of money the possibilities are endless...
What I do know is that I would not spend the summers here (Florida) as I am just completely over the oppressive humidity, and there would be no snow & grey skies in my winters as I hate that **** more than I hate the humidity...

I own some property there as well and I am very intimate with the people and culture. Its a unique place to be sure but I don't think I could live there for an extended period of time. That said, things have been steadily improving there for the last few years and it is very uplifting.

Here's just an example. You do not need a ton of money. The Zillion could be used to "get Stuff". Go on line and type in: 1261 Cherry Springs Rd., Coudersport Pa for sale.
