I had a few run ins with him, he didn’t think much of my car but that’s ok. He does great work from what i can see, and his car had a great story behind it. My dad bought my car off the original owner in 1971 and i have great memories of him with the car. I don’t think i would be able to sell it because of that. I drive it as much as possible because that is what he would have wanted. I wish moparnation74 well and hope he is ok.

Wow, can't believe he sold it!! I imagine a car done to that level fetched a good price and I'm sure if he sold it he knew where it was going and that it would be well taken care of.

I had cataract surgery about 5 years ago & while they were in there, they corrected by vision. Previously, I had been wearing glasses since first grade. Now I just wear them while driving at night & sunny days.

I'm very surprised Justin sold it, it had to be a offer he couldn't refuse. That car had very high sentimental value to him. If I remember correctly his dad worked at the assembly plant it came out of. He had memories of it growing up.
Never have I seen the level of detail in any restoration. Parts no one would ever see useless the car was disassembled, were either NOS or day one restorations. I dont beleive he used any repopped parts.
I lost contact with him after he left Tx.

IIRC His father had a 67 GTX when he was young,and bought the 69 GTX later.

Could be...been a while since I spoke to him. Great guy though.
He did an amazing restoration on the car,and as I told him,not many people would share all the details of what it takes to restore a car to OE Gold level with the rest of the Mopar community! I call his thread the encylopedia of Mopar OE Gold guide to restorations! Although I don't play in the OE Gold end of the pool,I often reference his thread for the wealth of information it contains.
Wondering if the restoration burned him out. When he advertised his parts horde for sale I was surprised. Thought that he was done restoring cars but didn't think he'd drop out of sight. Miss his expertise and comments. Hope with time he returns.
He sold it so he wouldn't have to give me that ride he promised , a couple yrs ago!

he really contributed to the forum,
mostly for the best intents
he could be a bit abrasive too
I don't think many got him, why he was the way he was
too bad he chose to leave
With his expertise & his great builds, OEM/NOS knowledge
he will be missed, a great resource of knowledge,
all that for such a talented young man
had a few good private convos/pm's here, with him
the B-body family misses him
by some select few members
