Ok I was looking to buy some paint to touch up some areas on my 71 RR. Since i got the car. I have been told it was Rallye Red. Even a body and paint friend of mine said it was the Rallye Red. Same with registration. I plugged the info from the fender into the decoder and it comes up Hemi-orange. Now I see a lot of thread stating its Tor Red Metallic. I'm thinking fender plaque is correct. Tor-Red. Just looking for some confirmation to ease my mind. I wish i could repaint entire car but money a little tight these days. Dont want to get wrong paint only to have to go order correct paint. I was one click away from ordering when i looked up this code on this forum. Great source of info for someone new to this. Thanks to all.

tor red and hemi orange are the same colours. Paintcode EV2 on the fender tag. They just have different names at Dodge/Plymouth

rallye red is a different colour. It would be FE5 on the tag

The FE5 was what i was going with because everyone kept telling me the car was rallye red. Once i saw the EV2 and learned what it meant. I was like oh crap. Thanks for input going with the EV2.

EV2 has a gold fleck in it, if it’s the factory paint.

Rally red is just straight red. Your car is not red it’s orange. And it looks pretty darn nice also!

If you are just doing stone chips, you might consider getting hemi-orange touchup paint from a Dodge dealer, part number 05163226AA. Odds are it won't quite be a perfect match. To get a near-perfect match, take the car to an automotive paint dealer that can "scan" your paint. The tricky part with this color is getting the size and amount of metal flakes right.
