Impressive to say the least. One third that truly love the cars next is just for money and last have no clue.

LOL. Its a Mopar site. You must be the latter.

Real Mopar guys only sell cars to finance another Mopar. Anyone who has been in the hobby for any length of time knows that Mopars are a losing proposition money wise.

Sell car? What is this you speak? I sold one. In 1990. And it was for another Mopar. A CARAVAN! After my 4th child in 5 years was born.. And I'm still hurt, and speak of it to this day. In fact, its why I bought my GTX 3 years ago. In an attempt to heal that wound. It helped. But still a scar.

I don't buy most of my vehicles to make money. At least not the classics anyway. However, I have only lost a little money on one vehicle my entire life out of 75 or 80+ vehicles. It seems I mostly hang on to everything for a long time. Hell, my daily driver Dodge Ram I have had almost 25 years. As for the vehicles I have sold over time there is usually someone else that wants it more than I do and gives me offers I can't refuse.

Did something happen here?? I'm not in it for the money and I have lots of clues.... guess I'm in the first 1/3rd !

I find it amazing a lot of the guys on here own B Bodies. Even more amazing was when I logged on to the A Bodies forum and found a lot of talk about A Bodies.
Totally freaked me out. Now pass me that pipe...

in it for the money? :fool:

you could drag almost any of these heaps home for free, and you are immediately under water

A-bodies? I have one too. But don't they only discuss wishing they had B-bodies? I have an E- body too. And I talk about. "I wish this E-body was a B-body." But all they do on that site is scramble for parts! B-body is a healthy mix of passion, Parts and performance options and stories.

When talking with my Chevy friends. I compare the Duster to their Nova. Both are nose heavy. Thus makes decent cheap drag race cars. And both are the bottom of GMs and Chrysler's models. Nova lovers hate me!

440......its a track car...... high 10s, low 11s.... never any drama
Mine is a 451. (400 with 440 crank) I'm impressed with that stroker option. Like Chevy's 383 stroker. I call "Poor man's strokers" Back when these forged cranks were a dime a dozen. It ran high 10s on its pump gas iron head build. Now with Brodex closed chamber with new internals running E-85. (Went from 10.25:1 comp to 12.5:1) hoping to get her down near 10 flat. (But i have learned i never go as fast as I hope? We'll just have to see?

I made one attempt last year. Car was snorting mad. I could tell from burnout it has more power. Slight tail wind with very good dry cooling morning air. Let the 2 step go on Amber? And snapped yoke to drivesharft like it was stock! (Oh, that's right. It was!") Car barely moved. Lol. I didn't upgrade the weak link of drivetrain.
