I gots of old pics stashed in the closet and really need to take the time to try and scan them...
what are some of you using to scan old pics with?
My all-in-one printer/scanner thingy does fine, but it's a slower process, loading them in one
at a time. Lid up, lid down, scan...rinse, lather, repeat.
Anyone using one of those dedicated picture scanner jobbers? Are they any faster?

Here’s a picture of my grandpa in his camper at the Summernationals in 1978. They would do the “big bus eliminator” during the down time between rounds, for fun with the crowd and each other. We still have Grandpas $1 in prize money and his plaque, even tho he broke out. He was a Kendall Oil rep and would do things like this to spread awareness to his product. Fun times back then!

My high school car - '70 GTX. This pic was taken around 1982. Originally an FK5 440 4bbl, 4-speed car, it had a 440 6bbl in it from a '69.5 RR. It even had the RR shifter in it - no pistol grip.

View attachment 946709 My first car: ‘73/400/727/3.55. I still love that color. Pic is from 1984.
Is that Tahitian Gold Metallic? My Road Runner was that color - I have to see if I can dig up an old picture of it...

Tahitian Gold Metallic was, well, brown...

...until it was in bright sunlight. Then it was pretty cool with gold showing through the brown. I would return my Road Runner back to this color if I ever do a major restoration of it again.

I wish I knew how to do it. I just took a picture of my picture with a phone.

I think that was the name of the color. I always just called it “root beer”.

I bought my first true musclecar the 67 GTX in 1977. Even in 1977 I loved them looking pretty stock, not jacked up, no white undercarriage etc. This was my lineup in 1978, GTX, 69 340-S and my new 78 adventurer SE. Ther 340-S really hauled, solid cam, ported heads, 4 speed that I pulled into second at 7500RPM. I bought the 75 Road Runner new in 75, 400 car,

Ooops 68-70 oldies, hows about my 69 Hemi GTX? Bought this in 1990 I think. It was bit tough.

Not too far back.. just 31 years ago. A shot that always makes me wonder where the years have gone. Dearly departed Jennifer and her Brother (and a younger me), Spring of 1990, loading up for World of Wheels in Oshawa..

I found two old pictures.

Here is my Road Runner the day it was purchased in 1979. That's my dad driving it up the driveway.

There are almost no pictures of my car when I had it in high school and college. Here is one, taken at a wedding. Yes, that is yours truly, in my powder blue polyester suit!

Those were the days!

Every girls crazy bout a sharp dressed man! I'm not sure blue polyester makes the cut though! Lol
