Starting to put this 69 back together got the new weather stripping. Wondering about installing the inside weather stripping it came with staples I've seen them before but have not installed them, and don't have a clue, I'm thinking pop rivets but would like to do it right

I know of no weather strips that are stapled in, specifically, which ones are you talking about?

I believe he is referring to the window fuzzies stapled to the door panels. If so I drilled the new ones to match the holes in the panel and used the staples provided with the new fuzzies. Just push them in and manually fold them over like the original install. (This is assuming the 68 uses the attachment method of my 65 Coronet).

Rear quarter inners are stapled to the removable trim plate...at least on a Runner. Not sure about a Charger. Many guys rivet them or use small #4 screws to hold them in place when restoring, but no reason not to use the supplied staples.

Drill new holes and insert staples.

Clamp staple down with vice grips.

Factory are bent inward, but this is the easiest, bending them out, while clamped in place with the vice grips.

Removing the old.

Great pictures and directions I didn't have to replace this inside stip on the interior job of my 70 satellite and that's all covered up now, thank you
