Original would be carter AVS.
I wouldn't base any buying decision on what carb it has.
So was it originally turbine bronze?
And they changed it to yellow?
Wow gotta disagree with that decision.
I'm not a column shift guy either.

No,it was a cream color Y3 unless they goffed up.Would this be possible.Owner says you can not tell color was changed?

Y-3 = Cream. The paint chip chart makes it look like a boring sand color. I'm not one for changing colors, cuz I'm a purist. Looks like a decent car, but, one needs to really inspect it to determine that for sure.

4682S should be the correct AVS carb number for an auto trans (383) Super Bee in '69. As stated earlier, don't let the carb sway your decision.

That color is awful! Why are so many cars painted this puke color? School bus yellow Doesn’t cut it. It’s nothing close to the Y3.

it looks good other than that.

I like it and if the price is right go for it. solid? All the numbers match? Also factory would slap that jack decal on it would not be that perfect

The yellow appears to be a 1970 colour. Personally, I am a fan of 1969 Sunfire Yellow. This was the colour of the new Superbee that bought in 1969. It looks like a solid, complete car.

if your gonnaa use a repop fender tag, you might want the paint code to match the color of the car

Here's my old Y3 Bee. 383 4 speed bench seat.

I believe the correct carb would be a #4682S (Carter AVS)

@SgtSuperbird beat ya to it (Post #4) :).

Doing some amateur sleuthing here....
That car is shown on the Super Bee Registry website, indicating the following:
WM23H9G214355
204 D32 330342 Y3 H2T T7 V1X V8X
A04, A62, B51, G15, G33, J25, L31, M21, R11

Comparing to the presented tag (agree, that appears to be a repro):
FENDER TAG 2.jpg

Yep, somebody at some point registered the car on the Registry as represented on the tag for sure...

Good sleuthing.
This its a remade tag.
Further, I'm finding all sorts of old "listings" for this car (some of them over 5 years old)
on some of the more nefarious websites out there....
Hey @GTXMopar - have you actually laid hands on this car in person??

When I bought my new Superbee in 1969, it did not have the tach either. The dealership offered to install it for the option price. The car also arrived as a "radio delete" car. This dealership said than whenever they ordered a "hot car" (their term), they did not order them with a radio, so that purchaser could have aerial placed at his choosing. I paid the AM radio option price and specified a rear deck aerial. Obviously, none of this would show up on VIN tag.
