69 A/C Blower Fan Assembly

Which is the correct a/c fan blower assembly for a 69 B body (Road Runner)? I have one that has a metal fan assembly and one that has plastic fan assembly.

My 69 charger had a plastic one. I replaced the impeller with a steel one that I found on ebay. A non a/c heater box has a steel one but its the opposite rotation. I'd go with the steel one. As long as it is the same size and rotation. The 52 year old plastic impeller might fall apart. Just my opinion.

Interesting. The fins are angled the same direction so I assume they rotate the same. There is a difference in width of the squirrel cage, although the distance from the bottom of fan to the mounting plate is the same.
