Help 70 roadrunner rust.

I have a Charger, but I was able to find the top of the roof channel to rear window section, from Tony's Mopar parts, of all places.
I only needed a 4 inch section on the top right, but it worked out GREAT, and for $30 bucks was well worth the cost.
It may be worth checking out Tony's Mopar parts to see if he has anything for your Roadrunner.
I couldn't find a good photo of the part, but here it is, with the new part just laying in place, before I cut out the small section I needed, and fit it in place.
On the lower section, I had to fab up the part I needed.
I could have done like others have suggested, and bought a dutchman panel, but for the small part I needed vs the high cost of the dutchman, I was able to modify the leftover part from the top window repair.
Good luck!!!

Put all your sheetmetal together with screws before you weld anything. If any welds are necessary use small tack welds. I can fabricate anything you need and have a car to use as a template. I am also an AMD dealer and can drop ship if necessary. Best of luck
Hey I appreciate your input. I bought some 18gauge sheet metal last week but I haven't been back out to work on my car ( health reasons). Hopefully I can get back outside shortly. If I need something fabricated that I can't make I'll definitely get in touch with you. Thanks again....Mark

I wish you the BEST of luck with your HEALTH, and your car!!!!
1970 Is my favorite RoadRunner!!(air grabber/pistol grip, dust trail and even the small deck lid spoiler,)
Once again good luck!!!

Thanks, I don't think mine will be getting the dust trail or the small spoiler:steering:

Hey, I get it, that is what is great about having different tastes, not all the cars end up being the same as each other.
My Charger is 3X Green(F5)
Now I would not have picked that color myself, but I just ordered the new antique green vinyl top, so it will be staying green!!LOL
Once again best of luck!!!
And keep us posted.

Hey everybody and thanks for any input. Well, im building a 70 roadrunner that is in pretty rough shape. I have the floors welded in and the quarters tacked in place. I'm at a point now that I have no idea how to fix it. The problem is my rear glass frame. It is rusted completely out in spots all the way around. Does anyone make replacements or is it going to have to be fabricated. I had a guy quote me a price to do the whole car but when it was time to go to the body shop he went radio silent. He wouldn't answer the phone or reply to text so I ended up doing it. I just hope what I've done so far is right. Again I appreciate any advice
AMD does the lower corners

I love seeing the hard work put in to save these rough cars. I have done a few and its always put a grin on my face when they hit the paint booth! Keep pushing my friend. They need saved.
