need help ... what do you think about this Roadrunner?

The price seems stiff but who knows what they are worth? They aren't the most desirable and they don't seem to come up for sale often enough to get a baseline for value. The 318 in a 4000 lb car is going to be a slug.
If you like this model and have some youthful attachment to a car like this.....go ahead and make a move. It looks far cheaper than a 68-70 Road Runner.

If you like it go for it, you will be the one determining the value by what your willing to pay. It’s an alternative to the early collectible birds and more affordable too. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder! It is not a real muscle car per the norm but could be a nice car to drive and enjoy. It will not be the fastest beeper on the planet but if you dig it I respect it.

I would say it's over priced.
Drop the torsion bars back where they should be and dump the deep dish rear wheels and get the tires back inside the wheel wells.
Not many pics of the interior and none under the hood or underneath.
Be vewy, vewy careful.

lol. I had no clue a 75 existed or what it looked like....... much to my surprise, its a good looking car...... if it's not a garage kept, original paint creampuff, keep looking; but if it is, and you like it, make an offer

Just a couple observations, as previous car guys here have said, it’s a little overpriced for for this area of Michigan, remember, it’s a been a Michigan car it’s whole life, and most likely the name “Road Runner” influenced the asking price.
A lot of these nice 1975’s models go for around 7,800 to 12K from private owners around here
Watch the video a couple times closely of this cars underside before offering a price
JMHO

I'm looking for a 75 or 76 Fury and this Road Runner is based on the 75 Fury.
this Road Runner would be a good alternative to the Fury.

Thank you very much for sharing your opinion.
I'll call the seller and make an offer.

You asked for opinions. Here's mine: Ridiculously overpriced. A "road runner" in name only. Not a "muscle car" by any stretch of the imagination. Nice car, for what it is. Now, don't get me wrong, I like the car for what it "is". I'd buy a Cordoba for less than half the price, it's essentially the same car.

Before you call the seller I will offer this info. My experience with that particular dealer is that car is probably on consignment. Which means the dealer has his profit built into the price. I made an offer on a car they had which they declined. After the car didn't sell the owner of said car then contacted me with a counter. There was $4000 difference in the price. That dealers service comes at a high premium.

doesn't look bad. interior seems to be in vgc.
price is high.
only 7100 built.
rockers look good.
no bubblys on the sheet metal.
whats with the gas tank strap placement?

no pic of fender tag.
standard motor was a 318 145hp
looks like 360,400 and 440 were options.

If you like the styling from this era, then consider the Chrysler Cordoba and '78-'79 Dodge Magnum models. Nice examples can be purchased for less money than that '75 Road Runner.

I have always liked the '78-'79 Magnum GT and '79 Chrysler 300 more than the '75 Road Runner.

There are some of your fellow countrymen on this forum. Maybe @Michael_ can provide you with some tips on purchases from the U.S.A.

Good luck with your search and purchase!

You have to like the body style to buy it. That's not a Roadrunner to me, 1975.......... Just my opinion.

they have had that 75 for some time with them use caution

There are 94 pictures posted for that car. They show up in a viewer when you click on "more information". Pictures of the interior and underside of the car, as well as engine bay.

Some of the interior trim pieces appear to have been touched up with black paint? There is nothing I like about the exhaust system. What's with the rear spring mount and shock absorber (damper) mount and hardware/bolt? The sheet metal support under the radiator looks rusty. Actually, there is nothing I like on the underside of that car @Martin-85

I'll add another thought if I may. To me, this is one of those "all or nothing" models. I've personally seen a few, including an outstanding one by a member here, that are a pristine, stunning, mint specimen. That category would be without question a desirable car. After that, the desirability drops off the cliff. It's either new/showroom, or it's not.

WTF is that thing on the rear shocks? Maybe its factory but its news to me. Looks like an extender of a sort. But doesn't make any sense to me. Get a tetanus shot and have fun.
