Ideas on exhaust exit.

Thanks guys, nobody responded before I jumped in and made the decision. Looking under the car narrowed down my choices lol. Gas tank, frame rails, etc all dictated the only path without major mods so I made these little panels to give it a nice look.View attachment 972425

I used a Pypes X pipe stainless kit for starters then built the rest using mandrel bent U bends, don't remember what brand of mufflers but they're straight through stainless glass packs.

Here's what I did. Still a work in progress but i just finished the holes and trim rings around.

So you guys didn't just knock holes in the valance, the finished opening is flared.

Did you form with metal shaping tools or buy something and weld it in?

I made a template of the hole out of wood and then I fabricated and wrapped a 3/8 tube around it to get the shape of the hole and then I welded the trim ring to the body and ground the weld to a radius that flows up. Took some time but unfortunately there wasn't something I could purchase everything is custom.

thanks. really like what you did with your exhaust dumps!
I'm curious now..I don't see the exhaust "dumps" IF what you mean by that are where the exhaust exits with cutouts open, can @747mopar post or repost the picture(s) of that? When I open my cutouts, the exhaust gas exits right out the cutouts.
If that's what you mean, can
