Wife and I took a day trip/cruise today to get out after almost a year of pandemic crap. Interesting carvings in the trees.
Pretty cool carvings, Jerry. Which one of your MANY sweet rides did you enjoy? Can you sense the envy in my typing?![]()
Is that a Hemi hiding in there?

How did I know?Gen III 6.1 bored and stroked to 426 cu. in.
I was just going to comment similarly - some of those carvings are pretty whimsical, others are downrightThat'd be better than a cemetery after dark !!
Big sign at the entrance, "Open at dawn Close at dusk". I don't think I would want to be there after dark.I was just going to comment similarly - some of those carvings are pretty whimsical, others are downright
disturbing.![]()
One thing about all of them, though - seriously talented artist involved!Big sign at the entrance, "Open at dawn Close at dusk". I don't think I would want to be there after dark.
How about because I told you so? Believe it or not it got 26 mpg on the day. The original PT I had with the sorry 4 cylinder did good to get 20 mpg, and there is actually more room to work on it in the engine compartment. How did I know?![]()
Ya reckon?I assume that it's also rear wheel drive!?!
Ok, I find that a bit of a stretch Jerry.......and there is actually more room to work on it in the engine compartment.
Yes, rear wheel drive, but sorry guys it's a 9" Ford 4 linked. No use wasting a Dana that can go in a B body.I assume that it's also rear wheel drive!?!
The whole thing is sitting on an Art Morrison custom chassis. All the A/C and bulky under dash things have been moved to the rear. Custom rear tubs, fabricated inner fenders. The A/C has ducts running to the dash vents in the front through the custom tunnel.Lucy, yu got sum splainin ta do! I made the assumption based on a lack of FWD knowledge. As I do not like it and never will. What I am getting at is I didn't really know or care if Chrysler made a FWD transaxle for a V-8. I recall a Caddy way back when that had it. Besides shoehorning that beast under the hood, I am curious what kind of mods were made for the tranny to clear the tunnel and what was done to clear the RWD setup, (mini wheel tubs?) If you have a link or more pictures I would love to see them. I recall a Hemi-Cruiser years ago that was yellow with a blower sticking up through the hood and and it had huge tires out back. My son has a PT and if I hit the lottery.........................................![]()
5, a performance built unit that still barely holds up to the Hemi. From a Dodge Dakota V8 truck. Still the weakest link.Thank you for posting that Jerry. Excellent work; "I'll take two please!" How many speeds is the tranny??
