My new neighbors

Yep, this one is a old timerRams_2021_2.jpg Pretty common 'round these parts.

Hopefully they don't randomly decide to Ram your car... They could do allot of damage...

Are they protected around your way?

As a fellow Nevadan, I don't know?? I'm up against BLM land and have mountains here, all I get around here are yotes. But I'm sure they're higher up than here.

That’s really cool. All I get is a coyote every now and then....and these two ducks who crap in the pool then leave.

I love the view of the mountains in the background. And as long as you've got water out there,
well that's good too! I visit my Brother in Vegas every year and love driving around and exploring.
Didn't know those Rams were in the area. Great!

Black Lives Matter have their own land?

Boulder City Nevada. Home of Hoover Dam.
Been watching these Rams for about 26 years now. They have no fear of humans.
There is a park near by that is their favorite hang out.Sometimes more than 50 can be there at one time.
We have seen new born young, hanging with the heard still with their umbilical cords not more than a few days old.
Protected,I understand that they have a lottery type of deal to get a permit to hunt.
Usually when the heard gets too large,Wildlife and Park Rangers round 'um up and transport them far into the desert.
It takes them a year or so but they always come back.Funny thing I've been hiking these parts for years and never found a dead or any trace of one.

1 Wild R/T,They have been known to do some damage. Picture windows smashed during mating season. You can hear them clashing horns during the quiet morning hours.
The neighbor drove a old 67 Ford F-250 for years. When he retired he bought a new diesel Chevy pick-up.With in about a month one rammed him at full gallop in the side between the bed and the cab just about totaling the new truck. The Ram walked away.
