Is there more than one vendor for the eight piece 66 Charger Cat Whiskers? If so, is one better than another?

Haven't checked into any others but ordered mine from Steele today. Won't be here for a week or 2 but I'll let you know what they look like when they arrive. Bought the quarter/front window seals from them are they worked out great.

Awesome, will be needing to source this too.

I don't know about this stuff...

These are from Steele. Got an invoice from them yesterday that said they were being shipped from an "alternate location". Didn't know what that meant until today. The ones for the outside back will require holes drilled for the pop in fasteners (no instructions). The inside backs have the staples in the small bag but I have no idea how to use them. That's what the originals used but who has a stapler that goes through metal? Don't want to see that bad boy! The fronts look pretty straight forward but who knows. Don't know what I expected for $198.41 (shipped ) but there they are.....

These look just like the ones I just got. I got the Brand Name Cat Whiskers. They look exactly the same. The front ones went in beautifully. I put just a tiny spot of grease on the clip where it contacts the metal and they popped right in. I had to remove to regulator bolts to let the window drop down. I haven't put in the rear whiskers yet. I'm not really looking forward to it after hearing what others have gone through.

Does the "Repops" outer window felts still use the hard rubber lip squeggee style of material on the outer felts?

Mine are some type of felt like material and a hard rubber backing. Similar to the original rather than rubber.

Window Fuzzies -- or, some call them Cat Whiskers. The inner and outer front door fuzzies go on with no issues. The quarter windows -- well, that's another story. For the inside, some say they glue them on -- some, double sided tape -- some, they screw them on. I tried something different. I lockwired them (Nuclear training paid off).

Great minds think alike:

Since Repops only put 10 staples in the box and we need 22 for the job and they are too big to fit in the holes anyway I figured leftover safety wire from my motorcycle racing days might do the trick. Worked great.
I do have a question about to outside ones: on the forum post about quarter windows people used machine screws, fender washers and nuts? Would sheet metal screws work also? And we have to use them because the clips on the Repops won't work because of the 2 layers of metal? Guess saying they fit 66-67 Chargers is a bit of a stretch.

I haven't tackled the outside quarter window fuzzies yet. I've read all the post on this and it sounds like it's going to be a challenge. I too wish they'd make the repops right.

I just installed the outer quarter window Cat Whiskers. After reading several forums I thought it was going to be a bear. Maybe I was lucky -- both sides just snapped right in.

You are indeed lucky. The outside quarter Repops took 2 hours, 6 screws and a lot of new cuss words to get on. I'd pay good money to see them do a Youtube video showing how long it takes them.

I think they must have modified them. I was surprised -- I was all ready to have a long day of it.
