What does a Mechanic Say?

I have said for years,before a person can design a vehicle they should have to do an internship for 1 year.
6 monthes in a GOOD repair shop, and 6 in a body shop!!:popcorn:

I agree, ive always said an engineer is someone that can do something for 100 bucks that everyone else can do for 10.
 
Then you obviously have never pulled a transmission from a 20 year old garbage truck.
Or changed a final drive on an excavator at a jobsite.
Real diesel mechanics get real greasy and dirty sometimes.

I was referring to the title of the thread "what does a mechanic say". Not saying that I have never seen extreme dirt, grime and grease because I have far too many times. I've had a differential, transmission and cooling system bath more than once, oh and at one point I was a construction equipment mechanic (US Army), so yeah I have worked on diesels...
