Anyone have suggestions on rear ujoint caps turning , completed restoration 440 4/s fresh motor trans driveshaft rear differential including yoke rear springs all bushings all frt end parts , spicer joints , but just for info last time on Jacks indexed joints , today index not lined up , help or suggestions appreciated!

The caps must be loose if they are turning. Is it the cap in the shaft, or the yoke? Does the yoke use u-bolts, or the u-shaped straps that bolt on? You could lightly center punch the surface of the yokes to tighten them up.

Yes that on yoke , I have done that before as a knurl , strap type yoke

Difficult to answer as I had rear diff 8.750 rebuild total sure grip clutch diff bearings ring pinion by estimated company in Baytown tx area half way through my Resto project!

Be sure the bolts are not running out of threads before they are tight
