NO MORE ORDERS FOR CLASSIC INDUSTRIES!!

Actually I did this last year or year before - two gallons of ground clear that helped...geezuz get in that ditch it's above waist high. Took a long time and it did help some...BUT should a done this in early May, grass is 40" high now. And pisses me off I need to be doing this + 50 bucks in grass killer. I'm thinking we might not get hurt bad other than creamed car (ahh pls not my '63 I got over $35k restoing); but a biker and maybe their passenger (or car) could be toasted hitting us or swerve avoiding us and end up in a head on. Killing or maiming someone for their life would be unthinkable. There's been a couple accidents here coming out of the bar, one was a fatal (nothing to do with this grass issue; but it's a shitty setup).

I took some photos and sent the highway manager another story about the hazards this morning, he won't see until Monday. Ironically, I'm a retired safety engineer, having done work for the county I reside in, right on the county line from the adjacent county that cuts the grass. There was some 'agreement' or trade-off btw the counties that the other would cut the grass. So reckon they put this on their lowest priority list. Could I mention, having been involved in fatal accident investigations, how sorry everyone has been - AFTER - it was too late? Nope, ya can't bring the dead father or mother, or their kid back to life or out of paralysis due to some simple fix hazard.

In my message today, I've indicated to the highway manager if he can't figure this out, give me a contact to discuss this with somebody who can. Thanks for the tips!

And to expand on the weed killer.... I've actually been using the Roundup dry granules... I've found the regular liquid concentrate seems to loose it's potency if stored after using part of the bottle... The granules get mixed fresh & full strength every time...

$100 but if mixed as the label shows it makes over 70 gallons of Roundup... Mixed how I use it it makes a little less but still probably 50 gallons....

And for the job you describe this is a better answer... Just run a single boom... I'd push a single boom out 10-12 feet & call it done...

Ask the local cops to check it out and report so it will become a liability to them and grounds to get sued

Just make sure you aren't out of code with in-op cars, illegal shop or materials before you raise too much stink...

farmers around me use round up mixed with 2-4D kills whole fields of vegetation everything. its about using the wicked stuff not some ace hardware over priced homeowner stuff, Thats what the C.I. guy told me anyways

So what are your bright ideas? So why don't you tell the board how you'd get around dealing with blind spots then, esp. dealing with county easements and your driveway!! C'mon man is right!
read below and then just about everything posted after your post.

What does weed killer have to do with Classic Industries?

Maybe the poor service from classic is because the employees smoked allot of weed? If we kill all the weed service should improve...

I know this topic got off track, but I wanted to post that my issue has been resolved with Classic Industries. Their brand manager reached out to me on the forum here, I then contacted him and explained the problem with the part that I had. He pull parts from their inventory, personally inspected them and sent me pictures. The parts he inspected were of much better quality than the part I received. He sent me a return label, I packed up the part and once he knew it was on its way back to CA, he sent me the part he inspected. I received the new part yesterday and it looks flawless in person.

I was frustrated with the customer service side and how slow the process was, but I am very happy now in the end. I would recommended reaching out to the member ClassicIndustries3 on here if you need to have a customer service issue resolved.

Pretty much exactly what happened to me more than once with Classic. Their customer service flat out sucks. Only way you can get things resolved is by outing them on here. Terrible business management imo.

This feels a bit like we're beating a dead horse at this point. We do our best to hire and train our staff to deliver exceptional customer service, but there will always be exceptions to that. Most of our customers are very happy with their purchases and the customer support we provide, but there will be that agent that makes a bad assumption or misunderstands what they're instructed to do.

You really don't have to "out us" if you don't like the outcome of a situation that arises... Everyone on this forum has an open invitation to send me a direct message and I will address the concern to the best of my abilities. It's kind of like letting your neighbors know their music is too loud instead of calling the police.

I'm sure you know by now that people would much rather say screw it and call the Cops instead of being nice & neighborly!

How's about those upper door pads? Unfortunately, it looks as though i'm gonna have to fabricate these myself. My artistic abilities are all inclusive, and tantamount to stick figures for people, and square boxes for cars!! I can draw boobies on them pretty good though...

Could you please send me a direct message with specifics? I know we offer a few options, assuming you're talking about 1968-70 Charger upper door pads, but I'm not aware of any issues with them. Did you order some already? Did you already contact our customer service department about the issue? An order number would help immensely.
